Supporting the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service with a storytelling video.
The Tamworth Rescue Ball by Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is an annual event in Tamworth. It is held to raise money for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. This year it was held March 24 and had one of the largest numbers of attendees ever.
A lot of people support the Westpac ball every year because of all the good Westpac does to save lives and help those in need every day, both just in Tamworth and across Australia. At the ball this year, we filmed a video which was played for the guests, of Rosalie Palmer, a registered nurse. Rosalie was saved by the services of Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Westpac Rescue Story- A Video
Following a horse riding accident, Rosalie was involved in, in 2017, she was rescued by Westpac helicopter. During the video, she went into detail of her injuries and it is clear by her explanation that her injuries were extensive and very serious. Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service flew Rosalie from the place of her accident to Tamworth Base Hospital.
During the video, Rosalie really highlights the fact that the need for the Westpac’s services really are for everyone, even when you think it won’t be you, you can never be sure. She also made sure to comment that she never realised the service was completely free and for use of anyone in need.
She gave her insights and thanks to Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. Speaking highly of their services and their ability to help her in her time of need. She credits Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service for giving her the opportunity to live the life she currently is. And for allowing her to move forward in her career in building her own business.
She encourages all watching to give generously to the service. Saying to those watching, they really do save lives and help every single person in need of their services.
This video was played to show the terrific work of the rescue team. And to really bring it home for the guests of the evening of how this service really is for everyone. The needs of this service can come about whenever and wherever.
